2026 Highland County Jr Fair – Animal ID
To simplify the process and keep everything in one place, the Highland County Jr Fair is utilizing Animal ID through FairEntry. This system is designed to make identifying animals and completing fair entries more simple, efficient, and user-friendly for exhibitors and families.
Animal ID Window: May 1 – June 15
During this time, exhibitors must complete Animal ID for ALL animals they are considering bringing to the fair.
Think of this just like the old tag-in process—
if it might go to the fair, it MUST be entered during this window.
What Animals Complete Animal ID?
ALL species EXCEPT:
- Poultry (breeding & market)
- Market Rabbits
These species will NOT enter anything during Animal ID and will instead enter animals during the regular entry period.
Fair Entry Window: July 1 – August 15
- Return to FairEntry to officially enter animals into classes
- Animals entered during Animal ID will already appear in your account
- You will simply select from your list
Important:
Animals NOT entered during Animal ID cannot be added later and will not be eligible to show.
